Ben was introduced to fine art at a young age by his Grandfather who had a huge influence in Ben’s life. He taught Ben about the importance of art and how it can impact and influence our sense of identity and bridge cultural differences.
Ben first realised that he wanted to be an artist during his secondary education and he continued to study art to degree level. He has received a lot of guidance and advice throughout the years, but his technique is mostly self taught. Throughout his career Ben has picked up methods and techniques allowing him to explore new ways of manipulating his mediums.
Ben is now known for his paintings of superheroes and popular culture, bringing characters to life to connect every little boy, girl, man and woman to their hero.
